Your First Visit
Knowing what to expect on your first visit to a new veterinarian can help put not only your mind at ease but also your pet's. Here at Kelsey Canine, we strive to give you and your dog the care you deserve. From our reception team, technicians, and our doctors, our team of talented staff members are here for you when you need them most.

Getting Started: Setting up An Appointment
To set up your first appointment give us a call at (901)-861-BARK (2275). We will get some basic information about you and your pet and then schedule you for your first visit. If you'd like us to we can request medical records from your previous vet!
In the future, you will be able to schedule and request appointments through our PetDesk app! To check out all of our app's features click here!
What To Expect From Your First Visit
The first thing to expect when you get to our clinic is for your fur baby to be showered with love and affection by our entire staff! Our technicians will get a basic history of your dog and ask about any issues you'd like to have addressed while you're here. Then, our doctors will start a very thorough "Nose to Tail" exam and perform any necessary lab work and/or treatments. Be assured that before you leave we can answer any and all questions that you have about your dog's health. We can also prescribe or refill any prescription medications or foods while you're here.

The Appointment: What to Expect
After Your Appointment
Following up with our patients is important to us. After your appointment, we will be following up with you regarding your dog's labwork and general health. This time allows us to address any other questions or concerns you may have.
We will continue to stay up to date on your dog's health and send you helpful reminders when it's time to see you again! Please know we are always here for you! Feel free to reach out to us whenever you need to. We have multiple methods of contact: email, call, or even text.
Step 3
Follow up: Welcome to the Family!
Wellness Plans provide preventive veterinary services for one year, with the cost divided into 12 affordable monthly payments. We offer unique plans to serve your pup through all stages of their life.
All basic (Gold & Puppy) plans include:
• Preventive care examinations and core vaccines.
• A co-pay examination fee on scheduled visits.
• Discounts on flea and tick prevention.
Our Platinum Plans include our routine dental cleaning service, plus everything you will receive in a Gold Plan.
