The Kelsey Canine Story
The Kelsey Canine Medical Center opened its doors on May 14th, 2007, as the fulfillment of the dream of owner Dr. Carr Kelsey to establish a veterinary practice dedicated to solely dogs. After practicing veterinary medicine in Collierville for more than 8 years, Dr. Kelsey decided to turn his focus to providing the best possible medical care for man's best friend, and Kelsey Canine has been "Where Dogs Rule" ever since! We are one of only a few canine-exclusive practices in the country, and the only one locally. We pride ourselves on enhancing the lives of canines, so that they may enrich the lives of those who love them. Is your dog more than "just a pet"? Do you celebrate your dog's birthday? If your dog is truly a member of your family, then we are the veterinary clinic for you!

When your dog comes to us with a problem, we make sure to follow up with a phone call to you – we want to know your dog is feeling better! We always call you back with lab results, even when they are completely normal — we want you to know that your dog is healthy. Dr. Kelsey and our staff are easily accessible — just a phone call or email away!
OWNER EDUCATION
If your dog has a health issue, we always try to give you reliable, up-to-date information and reading material that you can take home with you. We want you to be informed and understand your dog’s medical condition. We try to answer all your questions during your visit; but, if you have more at a later time, please call us. We provide written estimates for more extensive procedures to detail exactly what your dog’s treatment plan includes. Your dog is special to us and we want him/her to get the best care! We also offer Wellness Plans by Petly which allows our clients to break up the payments for routine yearly vaccinations and wellness exams that your dog needs over the course of a year.
