Veterinarians on Staff - Dr. Kelsey

Dr Kelsey - your Collierville veterinarian specializing in dog health.After practicing in the Collierville area for over eight years, Dr. Kelsey was ready to start The Kelsey Canine Medical Center on May 14th 2007. It is the fulfillment of his dream to establish the first local veterinary practice devoted solely to the health of your canine companion.

Dr. Robert Kelsey is a native Memphian with his family roots right here in Collierville dating back to the 1800's. He is a 1999 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and also holds a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Auburn. He and his wife Fran are active members of Grace Evangelical Church. They have two sons, Carrington and Knox, and daughter, Ainsley. Dr. Kelsey shares his bed with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named "Chloe".

Outside of veterinary medicine his passions include spending time with his family, reading, and the outdoors. Dr. Kelsey's areas of special interest in veterinary practice include endoscopy, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and dermatology.




Geri is proud to be part of Dr Kelsey's Collierville veterinarian staff and loves to share stories about her own dogs.


Geri Walter - Having several dogs helps to impress upon Geri the TLC needed to keep her canines healthy throughout their lives. This transfers to better care and compassion for our canine patients. Personal pets are Montauk, Indigo, Cookie, Scout, Maddie, Tambur, Briggs, Charlie Five-Oh and Oni.

Jennifer Keirce - Jennifer is a 2002 graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis. She has a B.A. in political science, but her love of animals has led to several animal related positions such as horseback riding instructor, zookeeper at the Memphis Zoo, horse-drawn carriage driver and now to her position at Kelsey Canine. Jennifer doesn’t have a dog of her own right now, so instead, she spoils her canine “nephew,” a Vizsla named Peyton.

Amanda Wolfe - Originally from Mississippi, Amanda earned an associate’s degree from NWCC in applied sciences before completing her training as a veterinary technician at the University of Mississippi’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She currently resides in Horn Lake, MS with her husband Chris and son Jeremy. They share their home with three cats and two rescued dogs, Bubba and Molly.

Julie Jeffrey - Julie Jeffrey is a 1991 graduate of the Center for Creative Studies College of Art and Design in Detroit Michigan. She has a bachelors degree in Fine Art Photography. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and their four rescued dogs. Julie is a volunteer at the Collierville Animal Shelter and she works with three local dog rescue groups. She has been a veterinary assistant for six years and a dog lover for her entire life.
Sarah loves being a part of Dr. Kelsey's Collierville veterinary practice, serving dog lovers like herself..


Sarah Richmond - Sarah started school at the University of Tennessee Martin, where she majored in Animal Science. During her sophomore year, she transferred to the University of Missouri. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Missouri with her Bachelors in Animal Science. After school she stayed in St. Louis for a couple years until deciding to continue her education in Memphis. Sarah's plan is to earn her Masters from the University of Tennessee Memphis. When she is not working at Kelsey Canine, she is spending time with her 6 year old blue tick beagle, Lucy, and her family and friends.

Brooke Bearden - Brooke is a junior at Collierville High School. One of her main hobbies is volunteering at the animal shelter. She has a passion for animals, particularly dogs. At home she has one dog named “Maizie.” Maizie is a Labrador Retriever mix and is a little over a year old. After high school, Brooke plans on starting her veterinary degree at the University of Tennessee. She eventually wants to start her own Veterinary practice.
